Join us for the 2026 Madam Ambassador Global Virtual Cohort Capstone Day and Closing Ceremony, hosted by the Arlington (VA) Chapter of The Links, Inc., Potomac (VA) Chapter of The Links, Inc., Washington (DC) Chapter of The Links, Inc., and the Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA). This ceremony celebrates the achievements of the 2026 Madam Ambassador Global Delegates as part of the Girls International Affairs Exposure Program.

The event is open to all Madam Ambassador Delegates, alumnae, friends, and family. It is a unique opportunity to honor and support the next generation of global leaders.

Speaker Biography

Ambassador Robie Kakonge, Ambassador of The Republic of Uganda to Washington D.C.

Her Excellency Robie Kakonge is Uganda's Ambassador to the United States and Non-Resident Ambassador to several Latin American and Caribbean countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and others. She is charged with, among other things, promoting bilateral relations between Uganda and the US in the political, security, economic, social, and cultural fields.

She is also accredited to major International Organizations such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO). 

Her extensive diplomatic portfolio highlights her significant contributions to International Relations, Economic Development, and Global Cooperation.
