What is the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)?
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is the world’s largest annual diplomatic gathering, held every September at UN Headquarters in New York City. It brings together leaders and representatives from all 193 UN member states to debate and shape the global agenda.
A stage for world leaders to deliver addresses, set priorities, and engage in dialogue on peace, security, climate change, human rights, and sustainable development.
A platform for multilateral diplomacy, where governments, civil society, and institutions collaborate to tackle today’s most pressing global challenges.
A mix of official UN sessions and high-profile side events, including policy forums, cultural showcases, private roundtables, and networking receptions across New York City.
