IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING EVENT SUBMISSIONS

• Committees are encouraged to include event title, topics, speakers and affiliations, and partners in the initial proposal; proposals missing this information may be submitted but will be approved as concept-only, and the event is not considered fully approved, nor eligible for promotion or use of BPIA’s name, logo, or affiliation, until all required details are submitted and formally approved by the Board

• Proposals are reviewed at the monthly Board meeting, held on the 3rd Sunday of each month, with decisions communicated by the last day of the month; committees are encouraged to submit proposals 2 to 3 months in advance, as the Board votes once per month and is required for any decisions or major changes

• Only fully approved events may be publicly promoted using BPIA’s name, logo, or affiliation

• Committee member only “informal” events may proceed with Chair approval alone

• All public facing or promoted events are classified as formal and require full Board approval
