ATLAS: BPIA Early Career Readiness Series

Preparing Professionals to Compete and Get Hired in Today’s Global Job Market

The ATLAS BPIA Early Career Readiness Series was developed in response to a rapidly shifting global job market, where traditional pathways into international affairs are becoming more competitive, less linear, and increasingly uncertain. Across government, nonprofits, think tanks, and multilateral institutions, hiring dynamics have changed, creating both new challenges and new opportunities for emerging and transitioning professionals.

This series is designed to meet this moment. Rather than offering abstract career advice, ATLAS provides practical, actionable guidance to help participants navigate real-time career decisions with clarity and strategy. From job search positioning and resume development to interview performance and career transitions, each session is structured to equip participants with tools they can apply immediately.

The series also recognizes that careers in international affairs are no longer confined to a single sector. As the field evolves, professionals must be prepared to move across government, private sector, consulting, and emerging areas such as technology and policy innovation. ATLAS aims to prepare participants not only to compete, but to adapt and lead within this changing landscape.

The ATLAS BPIA Early Career Readiness Series is open to students, early and mid-career professionals, and individuals navigating transitions or re-entry into the workforce. Whether you are seeking your first role, repositioning your experience, or preparing for your next opportunity, this series is designed to support your growth with both structure and community.
