2026 Colin Powell Leadership Institute (CPLI) Applications Now Open

The Colin Powell Leadership Institute (CPLI) is a premier leadership development and mentorship experience inspired by the life and legacy of General Colin L. Powell.

CPLI is designed for early and mid-career professionals ready to rise into the senior ranks of leadership across public service, international affairs, business, and global development. The program cultivates strategic thinkers and principled leaders equipped to serve with integrity, courage, and vision.

Who Should Apply

Professionals seeking to expand their influence, leadership capacity, and global impact. Applicants outside this demographic may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Program Details

• Application Deadline: December 19, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET

• Eligibility: Open to the general community. Membership in Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA) is highly encouraged.

• Cost: There is no cost to participate in this program.

Selected participants will join an exceptional community of leaders and gain access to mentorship, leadership modules, and meaningful opportunities to grow their network and impact.
