Event Details:
There’s been a lot of discussion recently about the potential for technology and artificial intelligence (AI) models like ChatGPT across several different sectors and economic outcomes from labor markets/employment to education. But there’s been relatively little discussion and understanding of how AI and associated technologies will affect two of the largest problems facing humanity currently- namely, climate change and the related issues of gender equity it presents across the globe. We bring together some of foremost experts in AI, climate change and gender equity to discuss the potential, challenges and possible pitfalls of AI for climate change and gender equity. This virtual event will include brief presentations from our experts, followed by a moderated Q and A session and an open question/answer session with the audience. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in understanding or learning more about topics at the intersection of AI, environment and inequality, from research experts in these areas as well.
