Program activities include professional development and mentoring workshops; career fairs and networking opportunities; and events created to increase members’ knowledge, insights, and experiences in international affairs. Whether their goal is a successful career in international affairs, or just becoming better informed in foreign policy issues, BPIA members seek to develop and cultivate a global mindset. Events like our Think & Drink gatherings, on topics such as “Human Trafficking,” and our BPIA Chats Instagram Live Interviews on subjects like “Imposter Syndrome: Why You Do Belong in the Room” provide opportunities for members to broaden personal and professional knowledge, insights and experiences. We also establish partnerships with other organizations to support such efforts.
