We host social and professional networking events where guests make valuable connections, and we feature employment and educational opportunities in our monthly e-newsletter and on this web site.




VICE PRESIDENT, EDUCATION AND EXCHANGE COMMITTEE 

MYLES IBANEZ (HE/HIM)

Myles is a distinguished Geopolitical Risk Analyst and Advisor with over eleven years of military and geopolitical expertise. He has advised senior officials on operational planning and strategy, demonstrating unwavering dedication to his field. Myles leverages his deep insight into foreign affairs to drive strategic initiatives and influence critical decision-making processes at the highest levels.

As a strategic operations advisor and analyst, Myles specializes in proactive risk analysis, grand strategy, and cooperative threat reduction across key global commands, including Africom, Eucom, Centcom, and Indopacom. In his role as Vice President of the Education and Exchange Committee at Black Professionals in International Affairs, Myles leads and mentors rising international affairs professionals across Africa and the United States. He is instrumental in developing strategies and real-world applications that enhance the international community's understanding and ability to address complex issues surrounding economic, geopolitical, and skill bridge strategies essential for solving global challenges.

Myles is an active member of prestigious platforms such as the Colin Powell Fellowship, Foreign Policy For America NextGen Fellowship, ForbesBLK, and the United Nations Association. His involvement in these organizations underscores his commitment to shaping global policy discussions and driving impactful initiatives.

Academically, Myles holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently pursuing a Master's in International Security at Georgetown University, further enhancing his expertise and commitment to continuous learning in the field.
